Thanks for backing ShotSafe, it's great to have you here.


Two quick steps to get going:


1. Grab your licence key - it's in your inbox now. (Can't see it? Check spam, or email support@shotsafe.co and I'll sort you out.)


2. Download ShotSafe and open it - you'll be asked to paste your key, and you're in. Takes a couple of minutes.

For Macs with an Apple M1, M2, M3 or M4 chip (most Macs from 2021 onwards)

For older Intel-based Macs (2020 and earlier)

How to install ShotSafe

It's super simple;

  • Open the downloaded file. Find ShotSafe in your Downloads folder and double-click it.

  • Drag ShotSafe into your Applications folder. A window will open showing the ShotSafe icon and a shortcut to Applications - drag one onto the other.

  • Open ShotSafe from Applications. The first time you open it, macOS may ask you to confirm. Click Open.

  • Paste in your licence key. ShotSafe will ask for it before anything else.

  • Follow the setup wizard. It'll walk you through choosing your drives and setting up your first project.

Your key works on up to three Macs.

Laptop, studio machine, whatever you need - activate ShotSafe on each with the same key.

Selling or replacing a Mac?

Open ShotSafe's settings and choose "Deactivate this Mac" first. That frees up an activation for your new machine.
